Claire Wilkinson

Claire Wilkinson specializes in personal injury and insurance
litigation. A large percentage of Claire's
practice is dedicated to assisting survivors of sexual
abuse. Claire also represents persons seriously
injured by motor vehicle collisions, product liability, slip and
falls, medical malpractice, and other areas of personal injury
litigation.
Claire graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1990,
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and
Philosophy. Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Laws
from Queen's University in 1993, and was called to the bar in
1995. Claire has been practicing law with Martin and
Hillyer in Burlington since 1995.
In March 2010, Claire will become President of the Halton County
Law Association. In addition, Claire has been a member of the
Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association since
2003. Claire is also an Ontario State Delegate
for the American Association for Justice.
Claire is a frequent lecturer for the Ontario Trial Lawyers
Association, and has also lectured for the Canadian Institute, the
Hamilton Law Association, Queen's University, and numerous other
groups.
Claire lives in Dundas and works in Burlington, and is strongly
focused on working with rehabilitation and other healthcare
specialists in the Halton/Hamilton area to provide excellent local
care for injured people.
Claire was instrumental in initiating and developing the Martin
& Hillyer annual bowl-a-thon run in Burlington, to raise money
for local charities. Claire plays soccer and hockey,
and is the proud mother of two boys, a girl, and a border
collie.
