Meghan lives and works in Burlington,and provides legal expertise to her clients throughout Ontario. She focuses in the following areas: Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Negligence/Elder Law, and Product Liability.
Meghan Walker is a former partner at a top litigation boutique firm. She is presently named to the Board of Directors for both the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Halton County Law Association. Meghan has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for her exceptional work in personal injury litigation. She has also been nominated by Lexpert for her advanced advocacy skills as a lawyer.
Her primary practice areas include: personal injuries, motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence/elder law, and product liability.
Meghan is passionate about giving back to the community. She is proudly involved in a number of community initiatives, including attending various events and coaching students from Oakville Trafalgar High School for the Ontario Justice Education Network. She has also taught at the Osgoode Hall Law School, of York University in Toronto. Meghan has also presented at many conferences hosted by the Ontario Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Halton County Law Association, and other prestigious organizations.
Meghan earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor in 2011. While attending law school, Meghan worked for a full-service law firm, which allowed her the opportunity to gain considerable litigation experience early on in her career. She also volunteered with the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly in Toronto.
Since her call to the Ontario bar in 2012, Meghan has represented numerous clients in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as at various tribunals across Ontario.
