MARTIN & HILLYER ASSOCIATES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTLA PRESENT THE HELMET ON KIDS CAMPAIGN AT TOM THOMSON PUBLIC SCHOOL IN BURLINGTON, ON

90 bike helmets to the entire Grade 2 class at Tom Thomson Public School
Martin & Hillyer Associates and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) with its partners donated 90 bike helmets to the entire Grade 2 class at Tom Thomson Public School. The event kicked off with an interactive presentation to all the Grade 2 classes. The children learned the importance of the brain and what affects can occur after a brain injury. They were treated to gooey, slimy, jello brains, and the much-anticipated melon drop! Let’s just say the melon not wearing his helmet didn’t fair so well! During the event the children were split into groups to go through an activity circuit of colouring, soccer and games, culminating with each child being individually fitted with their own brand new bike helmet.

Martin & Hillyer Associates have been running this program in Halton for the past 3 years and look forward to bringing it to more schools within Halton in the future.

Martin & Hillyer Associates and OTLA gratefully recognize the generous support of our event sponsors:
